Dan McNeil & WSCR-AM/670 The Score are presenting the "Danny Mac 2012 Charity Golf Outing" later this month, with proceeds going to benefit an Autism charity. The radio station will be broadcasting live from the event that day.
The Danny Mac 2012 Charity Golf Outing will take place on July 30th, with the tournament beginning at 1:00pm with a shotgun start. As it did last year, the event takes place at the Seven Bridges Golf Club, located at 1 Mulligan Drive in southwest suburban Woodridge.
The cost to take part in the Score golf tournament is $200 per individual or $800 for a foursome. Each participant will get a lunch, 18 holes of golf, and a seat at the post-tournament dinner/awards ceremony. Limited space is still available. 100% of the proceeds from the event will go to benefit Turning Pointe Autism Foundation. Last summer's "Danny Mac 2011 Charity Golf Outing" was said to have raised over $18,000 for the charity. The
Turning Pointe Autism Foundation assists individuals and families dealing with autism in their lives. This cause is one near & dear to Dan McNeil's heart, as he has a son with autism.
On Monday, July 30th, the day of the Danny Mac 2012 Charity Golf Outing, WSCR-AM will be broadcasting live from the site of the event at the Seven Bridges Golf Club. Doing remotes from the scene will be "The McNeil and Spiegel Show" from 9:00am-1:00pm, followed by "The Boers and Bernstein Show" from 1:00pm-6:00pm.
