Mega 95.5 Names "El Pitufo" APD

Clear Channel Chicago today named Jose Luis Marquez, otherwise known as "El Pitufo" (which translates in English as "The Smurf") as Assistant Program Director for WNUA-FM/Mega 95.5. In addition to helping with the station's programming, Marquez will continue to be Mega's Production & Imaging Director and on-air personality.

In a statement, Tony Coles, Vice President of Programming & Operations at Clear Channel Chicago said this about "El Pitufo" today: "Jose has proven to be a valuable member of the Mega team and we're thrilled he has stepped up to the challenge of these added duties."

The Smurf-tastic promotion is effective immediately.
