Comcast SportsNet To Televise 8 Cubs & Sox Spring Training Games

With football season over, it's time to start thinking about baseball! Comcast SportsNet Chicago has announced that they will be televising eight Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox Spring Training games live, including three Sox vs. Cubs match-ups.

Comcast SportsNet's 2010 spring training schedule begins strong with a pair of White Sox vs. Cubs telecasts, which will be coming live from Las Vegas, NV. The first one, on Friday, March 12 at 9:00pm, will be a "Cubs" telecast, featuring the announcing team of Len Kasper and Bob Brenly. The second one, on Saturday, March 13 at 3:00pm, will be a "White Sox" telecast with the announcing team of Ken "Hawk" Harrelson and Steve Stone.

The Comcast SportsNet Cactus League broadcast schedule looks like this:

March 12 - 9:00pm - CUBS vs. WHITE SOX from Las Vegas, NV
March 13 - 3:00pm - WHITE SOX vs. CUBS from Las Vegas, NV
March 15 - 9:00pm - White Sox vs. Kansas City from Glendale, AZ
March 19 - 3:00pm - WHITE SOX vs. CUBS from Glendale , AZ
March 22 - 3:00pm - Cubs vs. Cleveland from Mesa,AZ (replay at 7:00pm)
March 24 - 3:00pm - White Sox vs. Arizona from Goodyear, AZ (replay at 7:00pm)
March 29 - 9:00pm - White Sox vs. LA Angels from Glendale, AZ
April 1 - 3:00pm - Cubs vs. Colorado from Mesa, AZ (replay at 7:00pm)

Beginning next week, CSN will have nightly updates from both training camps on their "SportsNite" and "Chicago Tribune Live" programs, as well as updates whenever needed on their website, CSNChicago.com. Reporter Chuck Garfien will file White Sox reports from Camelback Ranch in Glendale and reporter Luke Stuckmeyer will provide the latest Cubs updates from Hohokam Stadium in Mesa. Rreporter Patrick Mooney will be covering both Chicago teams both on the website and the live television news shows.
