The Drive's 11th Annual Earth Day Guitar Auction

Earth Day is tomorrow, and as they have been doing for years, WDRV-FM/WWDV-FM, aka The Drive, is acknowledging the yearly holiday by having their annual Earth Day Guitar Auction. On The Drive's website, they will be auctioning off a gorgeous electric guitar, personally autographed by Pink Floyd's Roger Waters. The auction begins tomorrow, with proceeds going to to benefit the Save the Earth Foundation.

Starting sharply at 7:00am, with an opening bid of $500, the bidding process will be underway. Bids will be accepted in increments of $25. The auction will end on Monday at Noon. Whoever was the highest bidder at Noon will become the owner of the Roger Waters autographed Mockingbird-style guitar.

The Drive has been doing these Earth Day auctions for charity since 2002. Once again, proceeds will go to Save The Earth, a non-profit organization founded in 1972, that attempts to raise environmental awareness in our society and helps to fund environmental research at top U.S. universities.
