Good for Susan and for channel 5 weekend news. As I stated before, Susan's strong suit is in reporting on stories. Of course she can anchor, but she'll shine covering stories, events, etc.

Smart move by Ch5. I always thought they had the best weekend news and by adding Susan Carlson, just adds to an already great team.

Now that would be a team I would watch. Susan and Sylvia. But even still I will now show up for work on weekends even though I am not on the schedule.

Justin, if CBS 2 is smart, they pick Sylvia up in a heartbeat as she can help a few of those struggling newscasts on there right now.

Susan Carlson was the best thing on the Channel 2 AM news and they did a really stupid thing when they let her go. But then, they have a history of doing things like that, don't they?

Susan will jump off WLS-AM the moment NBC5 hires her full time (which they should).
