In the mid-1960's, WLS-AM's nighttime DJ, Art Roberts liked to tell Bedtime Stories to his massive listener base (a 62% audience share at one point!). These stories, or "Hip Fables" were quick tales, that sometimes had a moral to the story, sometimes just meandered around, but always ended with a big punch line. Here is one of Art Roberts' "Hip Fables" now, featuring the story of Waldo the Warthog. (Running time: 1:30)
