WLS-TV weatherman John Coleman was given his own weekly late night talk show called "Midnight." Here is one complete 30 minute show from January 1975, including all commercials, that featured a handful of Chicago radio stars from the AM frequency. Guesting on this particular show are Bob Sirott (then with WLS-AM), Clark Weber (then with WMAQ-AM), Chuck Schaden (then with WLTD-AM), and Sherman Kaplan (then and still with WBBM-AM). While Coleman seems to know little about radio, the radio personalities have some very interesting things to say about their industry.

In 2006 & 2007, the WBBM-TV/CBS 2 Morning News was a fun, upbeat newscast that featured Randy Salerno, Roseanne Tellez, Ed Curran, Susan Carlson and Vince Gerasole. This video clip helps capture some of the fun moments. (Also featured are Kristyn Hartman, Bill Zwecker, and Jim Williams.) Sadly, after the tragic death of Randy Salerno in January 2008, the morning newscast on WBBM-TV never quite recovered.

Almost seven years after it was first recorded, Chicago broadcasting star Mike North released a brand new music video today for his 2005 parody song "Caucasian Man." The video, done just for fun, was shot on location around Chicagoland, especially in the Edison Park area. In addition to Mike North as the "Caucasian Man," be on the look out for cameo appearances by former Bears coach Mike Ditka and Chicago radio's Dan Levy, among others, in the video.
