WLS-TV weatherman John Coleman was given his own weekly late night talk show called "Midnight." Here is one complete 30 minute show from January 1975, including all commercials, that featured a handful of Chicago radio stars from the AM frequency. Guesting on this particular show are Bob Sirott (then with WLS-AM), Clark Weber (then with WMAQ-AM), Chuck Schaden (then with WLTD-AM), and Sherman Kaplan (then and still with WBBM-AM). While Coleman seems to know little about radio, the radio personalities have some very interesting things to say about their industry.

In 2006 & 2007, the WBBM-TV/CBS 2 Morning News was a fun, upbeat newscast that featured Randy Salerno, Roseanne Tellez, Ed Curran, Susan Carlson and Vince Gerasole. This video clip helps capture some of the fun moments. (Also featured are Kristyn Hartman, Bill Zwecker, and Jim Williams.) Sadly, after the tragic death of Randy Salerno in January 2008, the morning newscast on WBBM-TV never quite recovered.

WMAQ-TV Newscast - February 23, 1967

These two videos come from a WMAQ-TV/NBC 5 newscast from February 23, 1967. The first video is the opening couple of minutes, with Floyd Kalber delivering news about the terrible snowfall of the day. The second video features the last 10 minutes of the newscast, with more from news anchor Kalber, as well as commentary from Len O'Connor and weather from Harry Volkman.
