WTTW-TV, in association with the City Club of Chicago, will be presenting a live forum with the two main candidates looking to take over the US Senate seat currently (and controversially) held by Roland Burris and previously held by President Barrack Obama. The Republican candidate Mark Kirk and the Democratic candidate Alexi Giannoulias will be together, with each attempting to make their case as to why they should be elected. This candidate forum will air on WTTW-TV/Channel 11 on October 27th at 7:00pm.
It will air as a special edition of WTTW's "Chicago Tonight." Phil Ponce, the veteran Chicago television newsman and host of "Chicago Tonight," will act as host of this particular show, as well as forum moderator.
Members of the City Club of Chicago will be allowed to sit in and observe this live show. It will be happening at the WTTW Studios, located at 5400 N. St. Louis in Chicago. Tickets are $100 for members and include a reception at 6:00pm, along with the "Chicago Tonight" candidate forum. Tickets can be purchased at this link
