WKQX-FM has announced most of the line-up and the dates for the 2010 version of their annual "Twisted" concerts. As they did last year, this year's Twisted will be a multi-night stand at Chicago's House of Blues.
Q101's morning show hosts Sherman & Tingle made the announcement on the air this morning.
"Twisted" 2010 will take place on five consecutive nights, December 11th-December 15th, and held at the House of Blues (329 N. Dearborn St., Chicago). Each night's show begins at 8:30pm, with the doors opening at 7:30pm.
The line-up so far consists of:
12/11 - Alter Bridge, Sick Puppies, Bad City
12/12 - Five Finger Death, Hell Yeah
12/13 - Chevelle, Finger Eleven, Hail The Villain
12/14 - Cake
12/15 - My Chemical Romance, Middle Class Nut
More acts will be added over the next few weeks.
Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, October 29th at 10:00am. Pre-sale for Q101 Club members is Thursday, October 28th at 10:00am. Tickets are sold by individual show, not as a five-night package. The price range for the ticket is $28-$35, depending on which show, plus around $12 in Ticketmaster service fees & taxes (an approximate 40%-43% obnoxious gouging of fees to buyers that Q101 has no control over). Tickets are general admission. Ages 17 and up may attend.
WKQX will also be giving away tickets in a texting contest that will happen multiple times each day. Visit this link

The annual Q101 December concert tradition began in 1994. It used to be one big concert, held on one night, with multiple rock artists doing short sets. In the early years, it was also known as "Twisted Christmas," but in later years, the name was shortened to simply "Twisted." This will be the 17th "Twisted" event that Q101 has put on.
