As previously mentioned here, last night was the 52nd Annual Chicago/Midwest Emmy Awards Ceremony, held at Chicago's Park West. Just as many Chicago television shows, personalities, producers, directors, and TV staffers were nominated for Emmys this year, a great many won Emmys at last night's gala.

The Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences seeks to recognize, encourage and advance excellence in the Midwestern television industry. With these Emmy Awards, they reward outstanding professional, technical and personal achievement in the art and sciences of television and media. The Chicago/Midwest Chapter covers the television markets of Chicago and the northern half of Illinois, the northern portion of Indiana over to the South Bend-Elkhart market, and the majority of Wisconsin. The Chicago/Midwest NATAS only chooses nominations and winners from material sent to them. It is up to the individual stations/performers/producers to submit their own material, which this year was due by June 16th.
