TVNewsCheck today, WMAQ-TV will be revamping its Sunday morning talk show line up. Starting this coming Sunday the 17th, the schedule will add one new show and have a bigger focus on local topics and issues. "The Talk" with Marion Brooks will move up a half hour to 8:00am. The program which premiered in May 2009 takes a look at the past week in politics, business and entertainment. Following "The Talk" will be a brand new half hour Chicago talk show, "Weekend Connection," hosted by Zoraida Sambolin. This program will air from 8:30am to 9:00am and will look at the top national stories of the week, but from a local perspective. Three NBC network shows will get new time slots, too. "Sunday Today" now moves back to 7:00am, "The Chris Matthews Show" now moves to 9:00am and "Meet The Press" moves to 9:30am.
