Me-Too To Air 'Stooge-A-Palooza' & 'Andy Griffith' Marathons New Year's Eve/Day

Fans of classic comedies are in for a treat at the end of this month. Weigel Broadcasting's Chicago-only channel Me-Too will air two 12 hour marathons -- one of "Stooge-A-Palooza" and one of "The Andy Griffith Show."

Why ring in the New Year with Dick Clark & "Old Lang Syne," when you can ring it in with Rich Koz & "Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuk!"? Fans of the Three Stooges will be able to enjoy a long marathon of laughs as Me-Too will air a 12 hour marathon of Stooge movies, all hosted by Chicago television treasure Rich Koz. His "Stooge-A-Palooza" program has been a fan favorite for many years, showing the Stooges' work completely uncut and uninterrupted, along with providing decent background knowledge and entertainment in between. Koz is the winner of numerous Emmy Awards for his Chicago television work and has been awarded the prestigious Emmy "Silver Circle" Award by the NATAS for his many years of television excellence.

The "Stooge-A-Palooza" marathon begins at Noon on Friday, December 31st and goes until just before Midnight. Why just before Midnight? Because Rich Koz will be doing a live countdown to the New Year from the Stooge-A-Palooza headquarters at that time.

A rival to the Weigel Broadcasting national classic TV channel Me-TV, the Tribune-owned Antenna TV, will be launching its network on New Year's Eve at 11:00pm with a Three Stooges marathon. However, Antenna TV will not have a beloved host like Rich Koz. It is also not yet known if Antenna TV will show the Stooges shorts uncut & uninterrupted.

Here is the complete list of Three Stooges movie shorts that will be run on Me-Too starting at Noon on December 31st. Each movie was personally selected by Rich Koz, who wanted to make sure die-hard Stooge fans most-loved episodes were aired.
