WKQX Announces Details On Its Jamboree 2011

Yesterday afternoon, WQKX-FM/Q101 announced the details on their newest version of their annual summer concert Jamboree. The location, ticket prices and line-ups are all set and have been revealed.

The concert will take place all one one day: Saturday, June 4th. It will take place at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre (19100 S. Ridgeland Ave., Tinley Park, IL), with the doors opening up at Noon.

The line up is as follows...

Papa Roach
Ed Kowalczyk (Live)

Awolnation
Greek Fire

Cubby Bear Side Stage:
Crash Kings
Bayside

The ticket prices vary:
$75: Pit (up close & center)
$29 & $19: Pavilion
$10.11: Limited Pavilion section & all lawn
The ticket prices DO include the cost of parking, but DO NOT include the Live Nation service fees which range from only $2 to almost $15 per ticket. Members of the online Q101 Club can purchase pre-sale tickets right now through Thursday at 10:00pm. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, April 22nd at 10:00am. This is the 16th year in a row for Q101's Jamboree, which first started in the summer of 1995. From 2003-2009, the annual summer concert name was changed to the Q101 Block Party, but last year, the event name reverted back to its original name of Jamboree.
