The Chicago Bears are doing their annual trek downstate to their summer Training Camp and Chicago sports radio stations are right behind them. Both WSCR-AM/670 The Score and WMVP-AM/ESPN 1000 will be doing numerous live broadcasts from the Bears Training Camp in the coming days and weeks.
As they have done every year since 2002, the Chicago Bears spend late July and much of August at their downstate Training Camp, located at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL. Each year, Chicago's radio stations send down their teams to preview the upcoming season, watch how the new & veteran players mix on the field, and interview the players and coaches to get their perspective on how the season is shaping up.
This year looks to be the busiest Bears Training Camp season ever for 670 The Score, at least in terms of the amount of live broadcasts and coverage for the station.
Here is a look at the WSCR-AM shows that will be broadcasting live on location from Bourbonnais over the next three weeks:
Friday, July 27th - Mully & Hanley (5:00am-9:00am)
Tuesday, July 31st - McNeil & Spiegel (9:00am-1:00pm) and Boers & Bernstein (1:00pm-6:00pm)
Wednesday, August 1st - Mully & Hanley (5:00am-9:00am)
Thursday, August 2nd - Mully & Hanley (5:00am-9:00am)
Monday, August 6th - McNeil & Spiegel (9:00am-1:00pm) and Boers & Bernstein (1:00pm-6:00pm)
Tuesday, August 7th - McNeil & Spiegel (9:00am-1:00pm) and Boers & Bernstein (1:00pm-6:00pm)
Monday, August 13th - Mully & Hanley (5:00am-9:00am)
Thursday, August 16th - McNeil & Spiegel (9:00am-1:00pm) and Boers & Bernstein (1:00pm-6:00pm)
Additionally, The Score's Laurence Holmes and Zach Zaidman will be stationed in Bourbonnais for most of the Bears' time at Training Camp and will be reporting in from there almost daily.
WMVP-AM always does numerous shows from Bears Training Camp and this year is no exception. Here is a look at the ESPN 1000 shows that will be broadcasting live on location from Bourbonnais over the next three weeks:
