WBBM-AM, WBEZ-AM, WFLD-TV, WGN-TV Win Edward R. Murrow Awards

Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) have announced the winners of their 2010 Edward R. Murrow Awards. To make sure that news organizations around the country have a fair chance at recognition, the US is split up into 13 regions, with a 14th region for International candidates. Those regions are then divided into Large Market & Small Market and again by Radio & Television. Chicago is part of the Large Market of Region 7, which includes Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. The recipients of 2010 Edward R. Murrow Awards for Chicago were:
