Me-TV presents Betty White Nights, beginning Monday

WWME-TV, best known as "Me-TV," is beginning a special two-week event next week, saluting Chicagoland native and superstar TV comedian, Betty White! With Betty White set to host the next new episode of Saturday Night Live (May 8th), thanks to an Internet-based grass-roots movement, Weigel Broadcasting's Me-TV figured this is the perfect moment to spotlight her on their Chicago classic television comedy station.

Beginning on Monday night at 7:00pm, Me-TV will air episodes of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" that focus on Betty White's character, Sue Ann Nivens - the sarcastic, bitchy and horny "Happy Homemaker." The episodes will be hosted by former WLIT-FM morning show personality and "You & Me This Morning" contributor, Melissa Forman. She will have special Betty White video clips, interviews, trivia and information surrounding and in-between the "Sue Ann Nivens" episodes.

Melissa Forman knows Betty White well. She hosted the Museum of Broadcast Communications' "Brunch with Betty White" on March 15, 2009, interviewing her live on stage.

White, the longtime comedic actress, who is now considered a television legend, has won five Emmy Awards and was a 1995 inductee into the Television Hall of Fame.
