WLS-FM & WIND-AM Team Up To Sponsor "Rockin' For the Troops" Concert

As they have done for the last few years, WLS-FM & WIND-AM are both sponsoring the annual concert to support our men & women in the US military, the "Rockin' For the Troops" concert. The concert is put together by Operation Support Our Troops - Illinois. This is the fifth year in a row for the show.

The concert will be held on Saturday, July 17th at Cantigny Park in Wheaton (1S151 Winfield Road). The concert will once again be headlined by Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band (featuring the "Forrest Gump" and "CSI: NY" actor, Garry Sinese). Joining them this year will be Nashville recording artist, Rockie Lynne and John Fogerty/Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute band, Blue Moon Swamp. Also appearing on stage before & after musical acts will be personalities from WLS-FM & WIND-AM. The park opens at Noon, with the entertainment beginning around 3:00pm.

Tickets are only $25 and are available now at select Jewel Osco locations in Wheaton, Naperville, West Chicago and Bolingbrook. Tickets also available online by at this link HERE, by phone at 800-594-TIXX (8499), or they can be purchased from any member of Operation Support Our Troops - Illinois.

Operation Support Our Troops - Illinois is an all volunteer, non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the morale of troops serving in harm's way, support the families of deployed military and provide help and support for the returning wounded.
