WDCB-FM To Broadcast Acts From 2014 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival

Starting later today, WDCB-FM 90.9 will be broadcasting select live performances from the 2014 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The live music will be heard on three days: Friday, May 25th; Thursday, May 1st; and Friday, May 2nd.

Chicago Bears Release Broadcast Schedule For 2014 Regular Season

Today, the NFL released team schedules for the upcoming regular season, which includes the broadcast schedules. As has been the case for the last few seasons, Chicago Bears game broadcasts will be seen on local television stations owned by FOX, CBS, NBC, as well as on ESPN and the NFL Network. These games will be heard locally on the radio via WBBM-AM and WLEY-FM.

Chicago Bulls 1st Round 2014 NBA Playoffs Series Broadcast Schedule

For the sixth year in a row, the Chicago Bulls are heading to the playoffs, this year taking on the Washington Wizards in the first round. The first game of the Bulls post-season will be Sunday night. Locally, all but one of these games will be seen exclusively on Comcast SportsNet Chicago, while nationally, games will be seen on ABC, TNT, and ESPN. All of the games' radio broadcasts will be heard locally on the Chicago Bulls Radio Network via ESPN1000.

Ben Hollis Starting New 'Wild' Chicago TV Show

Ben Hollis, the original host, as well as co-creator/co-producer of WTTW-TV's near-legendary around-town program "Wild Chicago," will soon be back on local television screens with a new, but similar show. This summer, Hollis will be seen again as the host/creator/producer of "WILD About Chicago."

Is WGN-TV Close To Losing The IL Lottery Drawings?

The Illinois Lottery has a contract that runs through June which pays WGN-TV to air its lottery drawings. According to the Chicago Tribune, whose parent company also owns WGN-TV, that long relationship may soon be coming to an end.
