Many Chicago Radio Stations Switch To Metro Traffic

Like Chicago traffic itself, there is bad news & good news to report when it comes to Chicago traffic reporting. As of this past weekend, Clear Channel Total Traffic has been dropped by pretty much ever radio station in town, with the exception of its own cluster of radio stations. Perhaps the best news is that no personnel have lost any jobs because of this change. Metro has taken on all of the Clear Channel staffers that reported to the stations. Not only will these employees still have jobs, but the listening public will still hear the same voices they heard before. Only the source of the traffic information has changed.
