    So, WSCR posts 24M in revenue in 2016. In 2013 it brought in 24.8M. In 2014 22.0M.

    Difference between 2016 and 2013/2014? WSCR now pays the Cubs about 10M for radio rights.

    Now we know why WGN Radio said no to the Cubs. The incremental advertising revenue doesn't come close to offsetting the incremental expenses.

    I'm flat-out blown away that WSCR only billed 24 million dollars the year that the Cubs won the World Series.
